I’m not exactly sure of the species of the Protector, he looks like a cross between an ant, a chameleon and a scorpion, but you can bet you don’t want to cross him. He has a very important job in protecting the Crane Queen, you see her perched up on her throne, doing what Queens do.
I find a little fantasy painting helps when you need a distraction from reality, I think we all need a break from that. I hope you are having a happy, healthy and distracted Sunday!

The protector has a trollish look about him, sitting under a bridge waiting to ask? “Who’s that klipitty klopping across my bridge? Do you have business with the Crane Queen?”

Ho ho, what a fun piece, Tiffany! Love the look and energy of it, and gotta admit, like the story of it even better! – “the Crane Queen, you see her perched up on her throne, doing what Queens do” 😂 Love it! Has such an impressionist sketchy look! 😊

Thank you, Adan! It was a fun, quick watercolor with the intention of using only one color and black, I had fun with the story too!

This is awesome because it comes at many angles. It can be contemporary, gothic, abstract or pure imagination.
