Even though I update my Events & Exhibitions Page, I’ve been lagging on announcing my events here, in my posts. I guess I assume most of the people I interact with here are not in San Diego, but I should still post about them for those who might make it out to a show.
With that said, the opening reception was last Wednesday for the “Abstraction of the Heart” group art show hosted by Dusty Dawn Art at Mike Hess Brewery! I’ve participated in several of their shows and we always have a great time on opening nights. This show will be on display until March 1st, I encourage you to stop by and take a look at all of the art and grab a beer, it’s a great place!
The piece I have displayed in this show is “XO” a 12″ x 12″ acrylic on canvas. It is the most relevant to Valentines Day painting that I have, along with maybe “Textures of Love“. It’s priced to sell at under $100, all sales for this piece must go through Dustydawnart!
