Mother Nature

I’ve been on a collage roll lately! I don’t normally paint figuratively, so collage is my way of introducing actual objects to my ideas.

I love to incorporate nature into my artwork, so you will find pressed leaves and flowers in many of my paintings and collages. 

I especially like this one representing Mother Nature, the cycle of life and how all things in nature flow and exist together.

    Yep. College is a great way of making paintings even more interesting. Although here, what stands out the most is your brush work, for sure.

      Thanks, Tim, I have hundreds of similar paintings laying around that I can’t seem to finish, always experimenting!

    I really like the collage elements in this, Tiffany! I like their placement and how they look against the huge sun-like swirl! I feel they not only add to a sorta-tropical overall feel, but anchor the work as a whole where the eye can rest in the intense energy in the painting. Very nice! 😊
