My first impression of this painting is a violent tsunami devouring a city. But I thought that is rather depressing, so I lightened it up a bit by naming it my favorite childhood game, “Chutes and Ladders”, but you can call it what you will!
That is the beauty of abstract painting, it can mean one thing to one person, and something completely different to the next person. As long as it means something is all that matters to me.
Well, chute, anyway you look at it, the painting is nice and wild.

Revisiting this, Tiffany – something about it kept nagging at me & I think tonight I finally found my individual illusive “take” – it’s winter gondolas over a festive holiday snowfall! It may have the energy of a tsunami, but it’s an emotional one for me, one of fun and joy riding up and down a winter mountain! 💕
