
I actually painted this one back in September 2018 but I never shared it until now. I can usually tell the age of my paintings by the signature. Back then, I was still playing with my signature, and obviously, my print was a bit too large! I think I have a better grasp of signature proportion now.
I suppose the title evaded me and so the little painting got lost among the rest. Discovered again, the Rolling Stones song “Jumping Jack Flash sprang into my mind, I suppose it reminds me of a lightening bolt in a burst of rain.
The painting has a flashbang, colorful explosiveness that’s well deserving of the name.
