Portfolio

I recently had to decided to put together a “portfolio” of my artwork. Since I have never seen an artists portfolio, and I really have no idea what it should include, I just winged it using Googles Slides app.

When all was said and done, I discovered that it won’t let me just save it as a PDF and email it to the person I wanted to share it with. I can see that I can share it with someone to edit it, but that’s not what I want.

Obviously I am not the most computer savvy person in the world, but I did figure out how to save the individual sheets so I was able to paste them in this post. 😊

I’m still playing and looking for other ways to create a proper easy to share portfolio, for free. If you have any suggestions, please do share!

  1. I wish I had actionable suggestions for you on free stuff to do to make this happen. Right now you are my guide and leader! 🙂 I love that image of you at the end immersed in your painting. Also, I do offer my best wishes to you! It’s not easy to put ourselves out there. Also I love that you can’t stop and won’t stop!!! muah!

      1. Yea, I don’t think it’s a problem. But maybe that’s just me. It’s worse if it’s held back as it gets stopped up. lol take it from me. lol 😆 yes there’s always the issue of “where to go with it.” That issue is easier to solve because it should be held inside where it becomes toxic.

  2. What a great looking effort & art! I’ve often wondered myself how to go about this; so hopefully post us follow-ups with links to a thread of this new topic 😊 And yea, your effort shines really well already, Tiffany! 🙏😊❤️

      1. Yeah you could be right. I loked at Slides, and I see what you saw.
I’ve managed to share a dummy presentation as read-only, so at least nobody can go in and dick around with it. But it always opens up in the Slides environment, where I guess you just want it to “play”. I can’t see how to do that.

  3. I would recommend you sign up for a few of these masterclasses in marketing your work Tiffany. Your art is good, but some of the text/descriptors sound a little naive to me. You want to sound more professional I think. Anyway, these are a great team of people who do artist marketing workshops. https://www.theartladder.com Good luck with it 🖼️❤️✏️🎨
