Shields

These three images are not actual paintings but photos of the plastic page shields that come with my sketchbooks. I like the random angles and mix of colors. Layered, they make their own story, like so many unassuming things in our daily lives!

I’ve got a lot on my plate the next few weeks. My husband just got his cast off, but he is still going to out of work for a couple of months. 🙄 We are still working on the Airbnb studio, we are getting close, the next steps will be the fun part, furnishing and decorating!

I’m excited to be leading an abstract painting workshop for OUR Arts Foundation next week, it’s been a while since I’ve been up for that, I’m ready.

Then, I will be going to Santa Barbara for a week to help my family with sorting their estate. It will be a lot of work but it’s always good to visit Santa Barbara and spend time with family.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy and colorful early Spring! 💐🌻☀️🪴💗

    1. Thank you so much! It’s a great idea, but they are very particular about photos and video just because of the sensitive nature of the attendees of the workshops. But, I should do more video demonstrations in my studio, it seems to be a popular topic and could help make some money! 😉
