October Favorite Photos

For the first time ever, I didn’t decorate for Halloween. I did manage to do a few fun things, we celebrated our friend’s birthday at Paradise Point, saw some live music, and got out to take walks at Balboa Park.

October used to be my favorite month, my birthday, cooler weather, fun outdoor events, great camping weather, etc.. This year, October brought a lot of sadness and grief. Not just the loss of Shady, but many others including a favorite auntie. 😔

Now that November is here, I am ready for new beginnings! I’m taking steps to get healthier, mentally and physically, and I am looking forward to happier days! Take care, my friends!😊🎨

        I believe I’ve been to San Diego once before, in 2012, if my memory serves me well. I was there briefly with a friend in a section referred to as ‘Little Italy’. We were only in the area for a day and unfortunately, we went to the worst restaurant to have ever dared to proclaim that it served ‘Italian food’. Looks like I need a proper visit to erase that permanently from my brain, And Paradise Point would be a great start. 🤓

      Isn’t he beautiful!? I’ve noticed at least 6 large tortoise in the yards of my neighbors, it must be the new popular pet!
