The comments to that all-black one a few days ago seem closed, but I wanted to say how much I liked remembering my friend Susie C when I saw that one. She once went to a horrible cocktail party — people talking about topics of new interest
and putting on the style. She went up to her husband and whispered, “I’m going home and paint a black picture”!
Oh my!!! How I know that feeling! 😂 One of my first favorite songs was “Paint it Black” by the Stones. Thank you for the comment on that one, the painting is very striking and expressive, I’m glad it sparked something for you too!
