This began as a practice board, a canvas panel that I used to play with colors and brush techniques. I added the white pathway around the canvas, then it took on a new life. Keeping with the original color palette, I added detailed lines, marks, and dots. It could be a game board, or perhaps a treasure map or a maze, I simply like the colors all tangled up a messy knot! (kind of like my unruly hair!) πππ¨
I hope you are having a great week! All is well in my little world, I’m excited that I’m going to eat lunch in a restaurant to meet an old friend, it’s been so long since we’ve been able to do that!!! Life is slowly getting back to “normal” here in California, whatever that is! βΊπ
Splendiferous mixed media artwork, Tiffany ~ I could imagine this as a lost treasure map from an ancient Aztec civilization π

So intriguing Tiffany, like a maze through the jungle with a giant snake. This one is too cool….it has a percussion rhythm that’s hypnotic πͺππ₯π

Tangled would make a great game board. It monopolizes on tangles.

‘Snakes and ladders’ immediately came to mind before reading you ‘board game’ reference.

You are too funny. I love the uniqueness of the painting and it almost looks alive to me, like a trail inviting you to come on board and down this unique path. I love that unruly hair of yours as you put it. Often I find us ladies are never happy with the hair we are born with and I see I am not the only one. I am grateful that I have hair as I know there are many people that do not have hair for many reasons at all. However I have always thought that women with wild curly hair were so lucky. Yours is fabulous and goes with your pale beautiful skin. You remind me of an Irish Spring commercial. Sending you love and hugs my friend. xoxoxox Joni

Oh, so many stories about hair! I grew up hating my curls! I tried half my life to straighten them, cut them, chemicalize them, and finally relinguished, they won! π€£π

I got perms for years and the bigger my hair the more I loved it. Your hair is beautiful Tiffany. So I was not happy with my straight hair. I have a sister who lost her hair before she was twenty. Wearing wigs in this southern humidity is terribly uncomfortable she has said. I canβt imagine. Sending fairies today with colors of paint that donβt yet exist. They are also bringing new brushes made with silk worms that live nearby. They will want to hang out and watch you create a visually stunning painting. Love you β€οΈ Have a blessed weekend. π§π»π§ββοΈπ§π»π§ββοΈπ€β€οΈπππ©βπ¨π¨ππΌ

It is my pleasure to view your beautiful work Tiffany. You won’t have to work hard to impress them as they chose you when they say your “reflection in a lake painting” they wanted to know where it was so they could go swimming. That really was such an amazing piece as are all your work. I am glad that they arrived. (I wrote the fairies for years when I was a little girl. I left the letters under my pillow and was so excited to wake up every morning to see if I might find one there. I think somehow if I could get one to love me and stay with me, they would somehow be company for me, and make me feel safe. I believe when I get to heaven there will be fairies everywhere) Have a beautiful week my amazing friend. Love you, Kiss the fairies for me too, Joni xoxoxox

Sorry, I missed this reply earlier, Joni! I always call my cat my angel, because I really believe she is here to look after me, my version of the faries, although, I believe in your kind too, the ones that I can not wait to meet in heaven! π₯°π»π€πΌπ

It so looks like a game board at first glance and an intense one at that! It visually pulls you in to study it! Love it! Love the colors and the overall look!!

Yeah, it does resemble a game board, I didn’t even see that until much later! Glad you like the colors also, thanks a bunch, Kirt! π

Hi Tiffany for some reason it is telling me I canβt follow your site. I have had computer and phone problems. They wiped my computer I was so worried. Then the download didnβt work at first but after several hours with a lovely Apple specialist she helped and it worked. It made me wonder if I actually put too much importance on my work. I will try and figure it out. Love you β€οΈπ€π
