I present to you my first completed painting of 2021! “Stairway of the Angels” is all acrylic on canvas and perhaps, a flashback to my earlier style.
Butterflies have always represented “angels” to me. Often appearing just when I needed a sign, or a reassurance that I am not alone, that my guardian angel is with me.
I generally steer away from gloomy topics, but Covid-19 death stats are grim in the US. The numbers are getting worse and the victims are completely random, any one of us can be taken. That said, I am astounded by the number of people in my community that are not taking this seriously. I have personally lost 5 people close to me to Covid-19 so far, this is not fake news folks.
