Archway to the Dream

Every now and then I paint something impressionistic, always abstract, but somehow, it looks like an actual place. In this scene, I can imagine floating through the archway and exploring the hidden paths and trails that lead to the subconscious, and then…. the possibilities are endless!

    Different from your splashes — I love them both. I would think it’s a bit harder to paint what you see rather than what you feel.

      Thanks! Yes, I prefer painting intuitively with no preconcieved ideas, I tend to get too focused on details when painting figuratively!
