In the early 80’s there was a bizarre movie called Liquid Sky, I loved it. It was about sex, drugs, and aliens, how could it not be great?? Well, it was actually awful, like a really bad B movie, but I loved the bizarre, the makeup the clothes the music, the insane concept, right up my alley for those days!
Anyway, as I was working on this painting for a couple weeks, I was thinking about that movie. The total craziness, bright colors, the lack of rhyme or reason, the chaos, “Liquid Sky” is the perfect name.
