There is a lot going on here in this 12″ x 12″ mixed media piece. Watercolor, acrylic, gel pens, magazine clippings, cut up painting strips, I’m probably forgetting something. I love the overall composition and the orange and blues speak to me of serenity even through the chaos.

  2. The complexity is enthralling, Tiffany! I’d been studying / absorbing the image before I read your commentary, and gotta agree, the oranges & blues, with the grey greens (a mix of the two?) emit serenity from within that same complexity – very nice! 😊

      1. It’s a wonderful mix of the 2, Tiffany. You often mention how you work intuitively, very wholistic, and we are all a bundle of very complex, and very simple, I don’t know the word, “things” lol 😂 And I believe Topsy Turvy is a marvelous example of the two balanced perfectly, even if just for a moment in paint in time ❤️
