Here I Am

Oooh, I am soooo over the mooon for this painting!!! When I first imagined this work, I was at work and couldn’t put it into action until the following day. I thought about it constantly, it was consuming me.

I had no idea that it would take me so long to complete, without stopping, it took well over two hours. There must be at least 100 layers of O’s! Working with spray paints requires constant shaking of the cans, and you have to spray at just the right angle, it was a very physical painting, my legs, back and index finger are all cursing me today!
