Hubby let me open a Christmas gift a little early, a brand new blank canvas!! It didn’t stay blank for long….. introducing “Autumn in New York” 12″ x 24″ on canvas
I really love this series, there’s something refreshing about the white background that appeals to me. The colors are swirling around and I love the movement and flow.
I’m finally having a proper Art Show Debut, and you are all invited!
When: Thursday December 13th, 2018 6pm to 10pm
Where: Caffe Calabria 3933 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104
What: I will be showcasing my original paintings along with my dear friend and co-host Xavier Bailey who will be displaying some of his brilliant abstract photography and talking about his new creative endeavours.
There will be originals and prints for sale!
Come say hello and enjoy a glass of wine and some wood fired pizza from our host Caffe Calabria! It happens to be the North Park Farmers Market taking place just down the street from 3pm to 7:30pm, so make a whole night of it, North Park is always extra festive this time of year!
There is plenty of parking at the North Park parking structure, enter on 29th Street.
Please email me if you have any questions, hope to see you there!
I had a hard time naming this one, so I reached out to my Facebook friends and they came up with lots of great ideas. As soon as I heard Ascension, I knew that was it!
This is part of a small series I just completed. A little different than my “normal” in that the colors are simple, clean and defined. I like the way they stand out on the plain white background.
I painted Essence after a self discovery exercise I did with life coach Denise Yamada. It was an amazing experience and it left me feeling very empowered and inspired! It was determined that my Essence is: Creativity, Heart, Joy, Commitment and Serenity. I think this painting summarizes all of my Essence words!
This was fun! Not my typical style, but I really had fun with the pour and then added spray paint, using spare change for the planets. Please excuse the glare from the inappropriate lighting.
