Stacked

I had done the watercolor painting on paper previously, I loved the flowy, moody colors, but it needed something else. When I spotted the image in a magazine, the colors were perfect, I had to incorporate it into the painting.

As much as I appreciate architecture, buildings, and construction, I’m also terrified of tall buildings. I have reoccurring nightmares about being in a highrise during an earthquake and feeling the swaying, the tipping over, and I wake up just before the whole building crashes to the ground.

Ugh. I’m not trying to be a downer right before Christmas, but maybe that’s part of the reason why these nightmares pop up, too much stress and pressure, everything gets “stacked” up and seems overwhelming. That’s what I’m going with!

  7. I remember the other one you did. This is beautiful. I love all the faces to the right of the large building. There are many cool things in this painting. Love it!! Hope you are doing great except for the stress. I am sending you big hugs and lots of love. ❤️🤗🦋🎄💝 Joni
