This might be my favorite painting so far, I say that all the time, but this might really be it! Abstract art is all about balance to me. The colors have to be balanced, if they are off, it just isn’t pleasant to look at. To my eye, this painting is well balanced, it works!
You can probably tell “Diversified” took a while to complete, there’s a lot of marks and layers. It’s mostly acrylic, some mixed media gel pens, ink and oil pastels. I love the positive energy this painting emits, it’s contagious!
“Diversified” is now available on apparel and products in my Redbubble shop!
I can’t believe tomorrow is September already, have a great week everyone!

Busy, lots of moving parts… streetlights, people oh oh oh OH!!

Sometimes I wish I could shrink myself so I could cruise around in my paintings, this one would be easy to get really lost! 😂🤣

The marks and shapes pull you in like half remembered tunes and when you realise theres nothing there, you spot something else and start again. I like the busyness of it – a technique worth pursuing, Tiffany.

There is a sort of mechanical element to this one which might trigger a building idea!

I applaud the creative abstract and yet it is a rhythm and cohesive element in there
