I really love this painting. It seems a bit impressionistic to me, not my typical style, but something I want to play with again!
Dark places are alluring to me. I also really love Radiohead and their song “There There” and the lyrics are surprisingly appropriate for the mood the painting sets.

Love the depth and open-to-interpretiveness of this one, Tiffany! My first memory impression this brought to me was being young in the 60s and going to the converted warehouses in downtown Houston along Buffalo Bayou, going inside and being flooded with colors and sound. Good memories 🙂 Yes! You should try more impressionist paintings, see if they continue to appeal to you 🙂
