Do you like Modest Mouse? I’ve discovered most people either love or hate them, I am one of those that loves their music. And I love the song “Lampshades on Fire” it’s perfect for my mood today, it’s Friday!
I’m brimming with excitement, there is so much going on! I will participant in the Who Are You? Group Art Show a show a week from today at Torque Moto Cafe in North Park! That’s Friday, April 26th, 2019 from 5PM to 8PM. I’m really excited to partner with Artists Co-op of San Diego for their inaugural art show!
Next up, I will have a painting in the Left Hand Black Creature Feature Group Art Show! The opening reception will be June 1st, 2019 from 6PM to 10PM at 1947 Fern Street in South Park. Sure to be a very interesting evening!

Your painting is very fitting for the imagery in the video for “Lampshades on Fire”. Divorcing it from the video, I like the movement of spaceships frolicking in, out of, around and through cosmic explosions and ethereal plasma in an ever expanding universe. I like Modest Mouse. Their video for “Dashboard” is a masterpiece.
